eContent - funding opportunities for European digital content
Check if your venture qualifies for EC funding
(This EC-supported workshop is free, but requires registration. Use our online registration form to register.
The European Commission's eContent programme, launched in January, aims at
stimulating European digital content & services on global networks by funding projects that:
1. Improve access to and expand use of public sector information
2. Enhance content production in a multilingual and multicultural
environment
3. Increase dynamism of the digital content market
The second call for proposals is launched at the beginning of
November, and will provide funding opportunities for project ideas with an
European scope and impact. This workshop presents the programme, the scope and how you can participate. Furthermore you can get concrete
advice from a Commission Official on your idea.
- Stig Marthinsen, eCommunications Manager eContent Programme of the EC (Luxembourg)
Abstract:
The European Commission's eContent programme addresses digital content on global networks, and seeks to stimulate European market developments rather than R&D. With a budget of 100 million EUROs, the programme will support a balanced portfolio of innovative digital content projects at European level, contributing to improved access to, and exploitation of, public sector information, enhancing content production in a multilingual and multicultural environment, and increasing the dynamism of the digital content market.
The workshop will explain the rationale of the programme, and demonstrate what is in it for your organisation. Specific focus will be placed on the call for proposals launched 1 November, where projects can get up to 2 million EUROs in funding.

Intelligent Interactive Games
Abstract:
At the first glance, we sell games (and operate them for our customers). Looking closer, you discover, that they are more than games: They are tools to enter in to a 2 way dialog with the audience. During the last 9 years, we learnt a lot how to structure the dialog. In this presentation we would like to share our experience and to show, how games can be used to meet well defined marketing objectives in a well defined target audience. We use the word gCRM (Game Customer Relations Management) to describe how we use prediction Games and our software to gather information about the target audience and feed it in to a CRM-System
